I’ve tried and it is very nice. I can tell your team has spent a lot of time on it. The voltage divider funtionality is nice but difficult to use.
In many cases I would pick either R1 or R2 and the gain. It would be nice if the app would find/pick the other R.
For example, I pick R1=110k, Vin=13v and Vout=3.1v and would need to find R2.
In the V drop across a wire part, it woud be nice to include PCB trace width with 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0oz copper. Characteristic impedence for PCB traces would be icing on the cake.
Thanks for writing a great app.
Thanks Mike, I’ll try to improve these calculators in the future version.
I agree with PCB trace current calcs and if possible the trace impedance calcs as at Windriver, Dave
Thanks for writing a great program. IC and transistor pinouts would be handy. I often find my self looking them up online. Maybe opamps, 2n and BC transistors and the 4000 series cmos would be good start.
will be implemented as soon as possible.
I am not sure if this is on the app. But I think having the truth tables for the logic gates would be a great help.
Thank you michelle, I’ll put also the truth tables.
Great app! The only thing i wish it had was the ability to convert numeric data instead of(or in addition to) the ASCII table.
Binary>Decimal>HEX>ASCII>UNICODE for general programming
HEX>24 Bit Color
Symbol>HEX>ASCII – To help decypher ASCII com strings
Also, I make a lot of custom DB9 cables/adaptors, the ability to see the pinout of various connectors and save a custom configurations would be nice. DB9>DB9 or DB9>RJ45 for example
Thanks for all the hard work!
Hello, I would like to suggest the inclusion of a common zener diode voltages table.
Very nice when you make sometimes a electronic design
Great app! Thanks. I particularly like having wire tables.
Is there documentation of the approximations used in the inductance calculator? I noticed that it gives different values for air core and for permeability ur = 1, which are the same thing, but it must be using different approximations.
“Inductance of Solenoid” is the generic solenoid formula
“Short air-core cylindrical coil” use the formula as defined here:

Would like to see text added to color code tiles. Very difficult to pick correct ones when your colorblind. Great App!, Thx
Thanks for your suggestion.
Really nice App! It would be cool if there was a possibility to switch between AWG and metric wires (i.e. 1.5mm^2).
This is a very useful app, I use it frequently. My only issue is that I use it on a wifi only device (xoom) and it can’t aquire the license when I am offline.. it would be great if this app could function offline.
To acquire the licence, it is necessary to be connected only the first time that you start the app (the licence is cached, so the app works also offline).
